Sergi Pérez has a Degree in Fine Arts and graduated at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAD). He majored in directing and his graduation piece, El buen aviador (2005) was selected for festivals including San Sebastian. In 2007 he released the short film Vestido nuevo, winner of awards at festivals such as Malaga and Soria and winner of the Versión Española-SGAE Award. He has made myriad music videos for groups including Manel, Mishima and Joan Dausa. El camí més llarg per tornar a casa is his first feature film.
