Biografía
Maria Peters (1958) is a Dutch screenwriter, director and producer. She graduated from a film academy in Amsterdam and later co-established the successful production company Shooting Star Filmcompany, where she made her feature-film debut The Purse Snatcher (De Tasjesdief, 1995). Her film Little Crumb (Kruimeltje, 1999) brought her acclaim. Of her other works we will mention the adventure film Petra Bella (2002 - 2003) and the historical drama Sonny Boy (2011).
