Mara Eibl-Eibesfeldt (1980) is a German screenwriter and director. In Berlin she graduated from university studies in journalism, communication, film and psychology. She also studied at the University of Television and Film Munich. She gained recognition and awards for her short student film works - we'll mention the films Endgame (Endspiel, 2005), Stay Away from the Black Man (Finger Weg vom Schwarzen Mann, 2006) and Tohuwabohu (2008). She's making her full-length debut with the drama The Spiderwebhouse (Im Spinnwebhaus, 2015).
