Corey Shurge

Corey has been creative writing since he was old enough to hold a pencil and his love of story telling eventually led him to write for the screen. Following the shaky Video 8 camera high school days (though worthy enough of a Media Award and an Ontario Scholar honor), Corey shot several shorts and cut his teeth in directing at film school and then moved on to the next goal: to write and direct a feature-length film.
Having completed his first feature, Corey continues his quest to learn and grow in the film business and looks forward to developing his next film. He is also collaborating with Dingus cast members Gord Rand and Melissa-Jane Shaw on a half-hour comedy television series concept.
