Biografía

Julie Buck is a New York based creative producer. With her producing partners Josh Hetzler and Tim Blake Nelson, she is currently developing a slate of independent film and television projects. Julie and Josh produced Anna Martemucci's debut feature Hollidaysburg from executive producers Chris Moore, Neal Dodson and Zachary Quinto. Julie has produced numerous features directed by James Franco and his company, Rabbit Bandini, including the upcoming film, Black Dog Red Dog with Chloe Sevigny, Logan Marshall Green, Olivia Wilde and Whoopi Goldberg. Julie's film Salar, directed by Nicholas Greene, was shortlisted for the Academy Awards and played at over 50 festivals worldwide. Her other features and shorts have played in hundreds of festivals including Tribeca, Clermont- Ferrand, SXSW, BFI London Film Festival, Palm Springs, Venice, Nantucket and Outfest. Before becoming a producer, Julie worked as the Head Archivist, programming and restoring classic films at the Harvard University Film Archive. Julie has a degree in creative producing from Columbia University and is a member of the Director's Guild of America.
