Glauder ROCHA (1939-1981, Brazil) was a key figure in the Brazilian Cinema Novo movement during the 60s and 70s. Rocha was a member of the radical left and his work was renowned for its political content. He had his international breakthrough with the film Black God, White Devil (1964), which was nominated for a Golden Palm.
