Biografía
Born in 1955 in Baghdad, Samir migrated to Switzerland in the 1960s. He is known for his fiction, documentary and experimental films, which drew attention at various festivals and won numerous awards. In 1994 he took over Dschoint Ventschr with filmmaker Werner Schweizer and producer Karin Koch.
