Brian Applegarth explains that he is simply the messenger in his short film THE SECRET STORY: How Medical Cannabis Was Re-Legalized in the US. In early 2015 Applegarth jumped into the cannabis space, the universe aligned and he crossed paths with the famed and respected hippie, renegade human rights & cannabis activist Dennis Peron, the man touted as the Father of Medical Marijuana. Applegarth spent time with Peron & Peron's lead political ally John Entwistle, Jr. absorbing stories of activism that are layered with passion, battles for human rights & political strategy. Applegarth is a new film-maker, fueled by inspiration.
