Biografía
Ange-Régis Hounkpatin was born and raised in Cotonou, Benin. He moved to France after high school in order to study literature, then eventually entered La Fémis school for cinema in 2009. His feature films are influenced by an imagination rooted in this bi-cultural background. His final-year student film “Rêves de lions” won the Youth Award at the Côté Court Festival of Pantin in 2014.
