Zdenek Sirový

Zdenek Sirový (1932-1995), director and screenwriter, graduated in directing from FAMU. He worked in Zlín's film studio and later at Barrandov. His first feature films were the dramas Horse Traders (Handlíři, 1963) and Funeral Ceremonies (Smuteční slavnost, 1969 – the film was locked away).
