Leon Bashir

Leon Bashir is known as both an actor, writer and director. After several successful roles as an actor, perhaps most notably in the television series' Familiesagaen De Syv Søstre (1997-2000), Fox Grønland (2001), and Codename Hunter (2007), as well as one of the lead roles in the gangster action-thriller Izzat (2005), a film he also co-wrote, he made his debut as a director with the action-comedy Tomme tønner in 2010, co-directed with Sebastian Dalén - with whom he also co-wrote the screenplay. Bashir also starred in the film, and reprised his role in the 2011 sequel, Tomme tønner 2, again also serving as screenwriter.
