In 2002 she graduated from the Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC) with a major in Film Directing, and later completed her studies at Cuba’s International Film and Television School. She worked in numerous film and television productions before the 2014 world premiere at Seminci’s sidebar ‘La Noche del Corto Español’ of her short film Café para llevar, which later won the Goya for best fiction short film. She has directed series such as The Red Band Society (2013), Cites (2015), Les de l’hoquei (2019), The Vineyard (2021) or Moebius (2021), and in 2019 she made her feature debut with In Family I Trust. The Teacher Who Promised The Sea (2023) is her second feature film as a director.
