Nicolas Winding Refn

Nicolas Winding Refn (1970) is a screenwriter, director and producer. He studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He made his successful debut with the criminal drama Pusher (1996), the first part of a cult trilogy of the same name (2004 - 2005). In between he made the thrillers Bleeder (1999) and Fear X (2003), and afterwards shot Bronson (2008), Valhalla Rising (2010), and Driver (2011), which scored points among film critics and at major festivals.
