Potom je černá

Light, shadow, working people, black night. The circus tent itself and the whole arrangement, or what’s going on inside, are excessive in their aesthetic aspects and wholly expressive: the bright colours of the tent amid murky grey housing estates, the face of a clown, half-laughing, half-weeping, acrobatics which take our breath away – all this is a type of perception which is exposed far beyond the horizon of our everyday experiences. The cinematic reality we perceive, step by step, deconstructs such an experience. (Karlovy Vary International Film Festival)
