The first season, which broke domestic rating records, saw teacher Paweł Zawadzki (Maciej Stuhr) uncover secrets, injustices, crimes and tragedies behind the picturesque façade of a small Polish town while investigating the murder of a young student. In the second season Paweł moves for a new job at an elite high school in Wroclaw but shortly after his arrival tragedy strikes there as well, providing a glance behind the deceitful veil of the exemplary institution and allowing the truth about the school and its unusual students to surface. One of the big successes of East European television, The Teach infuses the crime genre with a needed combination of originality and local elements, which allowed it to find audiences in the West as well. inglés I gave the project as a whole 4 stars, a compromise between the first season, which impressed me, and the second, which clearly lagged behind the first. I consider the criticism aimed at over-complexity and the unrealistic script to be justified. The writers' imagination got too carried away this time and a bit more sobriety wouldn't have hurt. On the other hand, I didn't mind the structure as much as I expected in the end. Not to mention that there are many projects in the field of so-called Nordic detective stories that are similarly or even more over complicated and they get away with it suspiciously easily. The pleasant cast led by Maciej Stuhr still functions, and they manage to maintain the viewer's attention and introduce current topics. I may be adding a bit to the score, but so be it. Overall impression: 70%. ()
