Four bars depict the reflexivity of space. Fluctuating to the vibrations of a four-voice synthesizer, the bars wiggle inside a rigid world. Outside, the world sings a responding blankness as the four-channel audio encircles the viewer’s two-channel life. Simultaneously ever-reaching and local, this is a story of the orbit an object implies – and the implication its orbit delegates back onto it. (Ann Arbor Film Festival)
