El desfile del amor (1929)

inglés The Love Parade is a film about which much can be said. For example, it was Lubitsch's first audio film, and Jeanette MacDonald's film debut. He was also one of the first to shoot up among the stars of Hollywood Frenchman Maurice Chevalier. He received 6 Oscar nominations and helped Paramount Studios overcome a crisis. And yet the film is just a cute bit of silliness based on an old European substance set in a fictional kingdom. Or better yet, the old French play "Le Prince Consort" (1903) by Jules Chancel and Léon Xanrof, which began playing on Broadway in 1905.

Young Hercules (1998)

inglés This is a standalone film that introduced the basic situation for the follow-up series Young Hercules. The idea for the teen adventures of the mythical Greek obviously pertains to the main series Hercules with Kevin Sorbo, in which his youth was often recalled. Disney also had their version of Hercules at the time and they created it as Hercules: Zero to Hero.

Hércules: Sus viajes legendarios - Season 6 (1999) (temporada)

inglés The short 6th season is more of a gift for fans that ran concurrently with the 5th season of Xena (in the time before the birth). There are a few more stories to wrap up, and a few more friends to say goodbye to. A little bit of a classic, amazons, ancient Egypt, opening the first bank, making peace with Dio, and that's it. THANK YOU.

Hércules: Sus viajes legendarios - Season 5 (1998) (temporada)

inglés Season 5 is the last full-length series of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and it should (and could) have been the last. It ran concurrently with Season 4 of Xena, which had a pretty substantial finale in its own right. This time around, much of the Hercules series is accompanied by his new partner Morrigan (Tamara Gorski), whom he picked up during his adventures in Ireland. Hercules traveled a lot this season, and in addition to Britain, he also managed to visit Sumeria and Scandinavia in a short time. Overall, this is one of the best series, though it's a long way from the original style and story of wandering through the ancient world... when the ancient gods were petty and cruel and plagued humanity with hardships, and Hercules no longer mourns his original family, and Hera isn't the main problem either. It's worthy of attention.

Hércules: Sus viajes legendarios - Season 4 (1997) (temporada)

inglés Season 4 ran concurrently with Season 3 of Xena. There are many memorable episodes in this series as well, the doppelganger episodes, the Widow Twanky storyline, the parody of Some Like It Hot with Autolycus and Salmoneus, Hercules in high school, and behind-the-scenes episodes from the making of the show. Every idea is a gem.

Hércules: Sus viajes legendarios - Season 3 (1996) (temporada)

inglés Season 3 ran concurrently with Season 2 of Xena. For example, the Halloween episodes Mummy Dearest and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun built on each other perfectly. Excellent are the episodes Prince Hercules, Surprise (with Callisto), the wedding episode When a Man Loves a Woman, the crossover episode Judgment Day, Hercules during the French Revolution in the episode Les Contemptibles, or Atlantis.

Hércules: Sus viajes legendarios - Season 2 (1995) (temporada)

inglés The excellent Season 2, which ran concurrently with Season 1 of Xena. We meet Autolycus (Bruce Campbell) for the first time and witness the birth of Aphrodite (Alexandra Tydings) from sea foam. The episodes with the mother of monsters or the wedding of Alcmene and Jason (Jeffrey Thomas) are great.

Hércules: Sus viajes legendarios - Season 1 (1995) (temporada)

inglés The legendary Season 1, whose episodes are still pretty epic. I almost can't believe it. The highlight is of course the trilogy with Xena, The Warrior Princess, The Gauntlet & Unchained Heart, but the other 10 episodes are worth it too. Especially As Darkness Falls.

Hercules and the Amazon Women (1994) (telepelícula)

inglés The legendary first film that started it all. Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) clashes with the Amazons, among whom we symbolically find Lysia (Lucy Lawless). Everything is in place, Iolaus (Michael Hurst) and Zeus (Anthony Quinn).

Xena: La princesa guerrera - Season 6 (2000) (temporada)

inglés The final Season 6 is a nice mix of classic ideas and a modern conceptualization of the series. Though it all takes place after that 25-year shift forward, Xena's daughter Livia used to be the champion of Rome, but after meeting her mother, she chose a similar path to her and turned into a peacemaker (and changed her name to Eve). Xena and Gabby are seasoned partners, able to withstand the seductions of Lucifer and the pitfalls of the Sahara desert. There are no issues integrating Norse mythology into Xena's world and making Xena one of the mythical Valkyries. There are also no issues in returning to Rome and dealing with Caligula (Alexis Arquette). The episodes from the 20th century or alternate futures are also excellent (what if Caesar hadn't betrayed Xena...). All's well that ends well. The legendary series offered us a lot. One cannot forget the skirmishes with Callisto and Alti, the comedies full of friendly gods and goddesses from the mythical Mount Olympus. Several celebrities have stepped out of their shadows and gone on to work on such projects as The Lord of the Rings or (Ash vs) Evil Dead. Xena's stunt-woman Zoë Bell also broke through in Tarantino's films.
