Manyeoyooheui (2007) (serie)

inglés An enjoyable dorama that, while lacking originality and avoiding many clichés, still keeps the viewer entertained. I looked forward to each new episode, I wasn't bored. There were some charming moments that I had to watch over again several times. Ga-in Han fit the role of the witch perfectly for me. She and Hee Jae made a really cute couple that made me laugh from the beginning to the end. Since the atmosphere of the series made me turn a blind eye to its many flaws and allowed me to relax with it, I’m giving it 4 stars.

K-POP choegang seobaibeol (2012) (serie)

inglés A series full of annoying clichés where you run into the person you’re just thinking of on the street and where your conversation is overheard by exactly the person who shouldn't be hearing it. Of course, you have to completely overlook the fact that the main character, who everyone is buying that she's a boy, doesn't look like a boy at all. The makeup artists, whose black eye wouldn't be believed by a three-year-old, didn't do a great job either. Despite these flaws (and many others), I found myself enjoying this dorama. The cast is decent, the music very nice in places, and the atmosphere upbeat. 2.5 stars.

Bomeui walcheu (2006) (serie)

inglés A nice and interesting script presented at a slow and melancholic pace. The story and the beautiful music are the strongest points. I had goosebumps at some of the dialogue and tears in my eyes at a few of the scenes. Still, I think that 16 episodes would have been enough. I liked the child cast, the adult cast a little less. It's a cute dorama, but I couldn't quite get into it. 3.5 stars.

Ailiseu (2009) (serie)

inglés This series offers countless situations that left me breathless and brought tears to my eyes. I'm very happy with the overall cast. I don't think one can enjoy Byeong-heon Lee's incredible talent anywhere as much as here. The love and friendship storylines have incredible strength thanks to the first episodes. I can't find any negatives here and I could sing praises for hours. Still, words cannot describe the beauty. Beautiful music. 5 stars.

Paeseon wang (2012) (serie)

inglés In my opinion, a unique, one-of-a-kind Korean dorama that offers something new. I was almost never able to figure out the situations and was often surprised. The personalities of each character are perfectly crafted. The creators were not afraid to engage in intrigue and betrayal. They quite accurately described the relationship between man and money. The only weakness of this series is the first two episodes. But then it picked up and I eagerly awaited each new episode. The biggest surprise was the end of the series. At first I wished I could erase the last episode from my mind, but now I see it as the highlight of the whole series. 4.5 stars.

Haebaragi (2006)

inglés I've known for a while that Rae-won Kim is a master actor and this role just confirmed it for me. Even though I was expecting a lot more action, I'm glad it was what it was. I wouldn't have thought revenge could be conceived in this way. There were a few poignant parts that left my eyes blinking really intensely. 4.5 stars.

B-hyeong namjachingu (2005)

inglés A cute and fun movie that I definitely wouldn't underestimate. The plot may revolve around utter stupidity, but it still managed to keep me interested. The funny scenes are not overdone and feel real. These two really click well together and I loved their relationship. Of course, South Korea has dozens of better and more elaborate romance films that can move you a hundred times more. Besides, I don't see why we can't occasionally watch a movie that deals with everyday problems instead of the terminal illness of one of the lovers. 4 stars.

Chilgeup gongmuwon (2009)

inglés The cast is perfect for me. I really like Ha-neul Kim and no Korean actor pleases me as much as Ji-hwan Kang. The first hour goes well, but then there's about half an hour of boredom. The film has one foot in action and one foot in comedy. That's why some of the action scenes are rather uninteresting and comical. I would have liked it to be a romantic comedy with a touch of action or an action film with a romantic touch. Still, I laughed a lot and have no reason to rate it worse... 4 stars.

Orora gongju (2005)

inglés I've never had a movie go by so quickly. The viewer just doesn't get a chance to get bored because the main character doesn't mess around. The screenplay may not be one of the most original, but I definitely wouldn't call it boring. The main advantage is the interesting actress and the way it is portrayed. The ending and the denouement are good, but I would need something more surprising to make it perfect. 4.5 stars.

Yongseoneun eupda (2010)

inglés I should probably stop watching movies like this because it makes me feel guilty for giving a positive review to a movie with this kind of content. Anyway, it was suspenseful for me almost from the very beginning. The script is elaborate and there are a lot of twists and turns awaiting the viewer. The denouement is very strong. At the end, of course, I couldn't help tearing up. The cast was spot on... 5 stars.
