Okay, I have to admit that Natalia Oreiro was the first impetus to see the film. Seeing her in something other than a soap opera was pleasant. But there isn't much of her here, and the film works much more really as a memoir of the director of a strange life and a strange time in Argentina. The story and the development of the main character make it intriguing.

An even bigger dud than the first film, which I enjoyed again only because Bill Murray was a great fit as the voice of Garfield. But to send Garfield to Britain and swap him for an aristocratic cat... This strikes me as pretty stupid and something that shows that Garfield can only work in a comic book.

In recent years, it has become a trend that you can also visit a museum in a cinema to see its collections, but the movie "Great Museum" is not about the Museum of Art History in Vienna presenting its collections to you, but mainly about the people who work there. And as a behind-the-scenes look, it is quite an interesting experience.

Here, I got really intrigued by the title, which sounded promising, but it turns out that this isn't a tribute to the master and a great action film at all. Instead, it's a dumb comedy with a bunch of idiots, containing several references to famous world films and Bruce Lee. Terrible, really terrible.

I just love these "last man on earth" stories. It's interesting especially in that you want to know how it will turn out. This is a slightly different take, more of a relationship, romantic drama, but it works, and even if the finale doesn't fulfill you, it makes good use of the Icelandic locations.

With Vampyros Lesbos, Jesús Franco simply showed that he has made a lot of movies, and enjoyed filming women's breasts, but didn't really give it any genuinely interesting form. It turned out to be a film that has a little bit of nudity, but worst of all, there is nothing horror-like to call it a horror. In this example, Jesús Franco certainly didn't demonstrate any great abilities, and it's hard to even talk about its cult status.

Sure, it's a tearjerker, and sure, it's meant to squeeze some emotions and a bunch of tears out of you, but in my case, it just didn't work. On the one hand, it is due to the excellent cast, where I enjoyed every actor, on the other hand, there was a surprise in the plot, which I somehow just did not expect, which made it all the more interesting.

To make matters worse, the plot also moves to South America to the Colombian jungle for good measure. Again we have a different military unit, and different actors, this time some who are a bit more familiar, but it's boring and frankly not very watchable anymore. It doesn't have strong characters, it doesn't have a strong story, and well, it doesn't have a strong anything.

The second installment tries to be interesting with exoticism and action, which makes me feel like Poledňáková just didn't know how else to spice things up. After watching this film, I kind of hope that they won't bother filming anything else because even though some actors, especially Bartoška, entertained me, it's otherwise a tragedy.

I hadn't seen the film before, but after the success of the second installment, I figured it was time to check this tale out. And I have to say, it's good. True, I was expecting a bit more humor, and towards the end, everything suddenly becomes kind of rushed, maybe to avoid being too cliché, and the happy ending isn't overly obvious, but otherwise, it's good.
