The finale of Lake Erie isn't anything grand; perhaps there's a slight surprise, maybe the script shows some coherence, but this is a film that doesn't manage to shake you up, to captivate you, to truly intrigue you, because the buildup is very weak. It's not an experience you'll remember for a long time, but simply a classic contemporary horror flick.

The film builds up very well and the best part is at its end, where its strong weapon - Jack Nicholson - is displayed. His performance is incredible, as he manages to steal the film for himself even in just a few minutes. Tom Cruise, Kevin Bacon, Demi Moore, and Kiefer Sutherland are all excellent, but Jack is the king.

Western, where a woman is in the lead role. It takes a while for the film to move a little from its place, to become truly interesting, but in the end, it manages to be that way until the end of the story, where a woman, who only wanted good, almost ends up on the gallows. Well-written characters and possibly an unnecessary addition at the very end.

This film has one positive - it has some nice shots of the female breasts and the main character's ass. And unfortunately, that's all the film delivers. The exteriors are not used at all, although they are quite nice, but the worst thing is that even the erotic scenes are not very entertaining. This doesn't even deserve the name "Emmanuelle" in the title.

For a while, it appears to be a comedy that could be quite harsh, and indeed, there are scenes here that are definitely not politically correct. These scenes are fine. But then there is the rest of the story, which is definitely not as good. The direction is fairly clear, and focusing on a few good scenes isn't enough for greater success.

Errol Flynn will likely find it difficult to play a character other than a positive one, so here we have him as a captain in the Civil War, just released from captivity, claiming to know a secret that could help the North. Tough guys, a bit of romance, Humphrey Bogart in one of his weirder roles, and overall, a light above-average film.

Nina Forever was a pleasant surprise for me, and I was very pleased with it. It's a film that has a lot of originality to it, even if it might seem at first glance to combine elements that we have already seen. But it's precisely this ability to look at individual elements in a completely new way that I really liked about the film. Moreover, it's a bold film that manages to blend comedy, drama, romance, horror, and even a profound sense of depression.

I can't help but see 3 Generations as a concert of three great actresses from three generations, where they are the ones who truly shine. The theme isn't bad at all, but in the end, it doesn't lead to anything surprising that would truly captivate the viewer until the end. Great for the acting mastery, but rather disappointing for the plot itself.

How do you resolve a minor personal crisis, how do you continue being a successful lawyer, and how do you take care of your children? It's not very simple, especially when the crisis isn't actually small at all, but rather quite significant. Victoria finds her way through a romance, and perhaps at the end, she finds herself. I like how it's realistic, but with a nice touch of perspective at times.
