Un día de furia (1993)

inglés The final effect is even more powerful than Phone Booth. Furthermore, conceptually Free Fall is possibly Joel Schumacher's strongest film. Michael Douglas acts incredibly well, aided by the fact that his role is excellently written. The ending was a bit cliché and disruptive to me, unfortunately, but it can be endured.

Ray (2004)

inglés I would call it craftsmanship. Some scenes were unnecessary, the flashbacks of youth were touching and engaging, but not extremely important. However, it is incredible how riveting an ordinary recording session in a studio is in Hackford's delivery, for example. If the best scenes in a film about a great musician are the ones where music takes center stage, at least in this aspect, everything is fine.

Closer, cegados por el deseo (2004)

inglés Closer is an extraordinary social-conversation drama, describing human relationships in all their authenticity.

cartel

Soldado universal (1992)

inglés Universal Soldier is exactly the over-engineered, unstylish, and content- shallow type of film that was churned out in droves in the 1990s. Jean-Claude Van Damme, however, suits this role quite well, and Dolph Lundgren, who will forever remain in my memory only as Ivan Drago, also did not disappoint. The action is somewhat decent within the realm of possibilities.

cartel

El rey Arturo (2004)

inglés The modern and wannabe gritty approach is not fitting for a “fairytale”. The director is a hack, the actors have nothing to work with and the lack of blood is by far the most irritating thing. Even the fantastically shot archery scenes don't help.

Despertares (1990)

inglés Awakenings is a slow and delicately crafted film that relies primarily on superb performances and strong direction. It may not have the pace to reach the maximum rating, but it is very mature in terms of its dramaturgy and has a lot to offer in terms of its plot.

cartel

Tocando el vacío (2003)

inglés Touching the Void is all about the strength of the human spirit and mind. The climbing scenes are superbly filmed and you feel together with the characters every inch of the uneven surface.

El club de la lucha (1999)

inglés The Fuck the system thing is okay, with a satirical undertone and plenty of references as well. No one can deny David Fincher's technical skill and thematic originality, but the philosophy misses the mark. A person can really be whatever they want, as long as they do what they should. But I understand that the masses are thrilled by it, how could they not, everything that is missing in other movies is here, or the other way around.
