Biografía

In 1996, within three months of deciding to embrace acting as a full time career and moving to Bollywood (Mumbai), Tony Mirrcandani bagged a series regular role in Parchaiyan, a prime time drama. Many more series and films followed and Tony became a fixture in the Bollywood scene.

His credits include Gadar and Koi Mil Gaya, both among the top grossing films in the history of Indian cinema. His reputation as an actor was further re-affirmed with films like Market, Kuch Kaha Aapne, Virudh and dozens of series and features.

In 2005 he bagged one of the leading roles in the multi-million dollar Anglo-Australian production of Merchants of Bollywood which premiered in Sydney and went on to play all over Australia and New Zealand followed by Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the UK to rave reviews for two years.

Tony moved to America in 2008 where he became immersed in New York theatre notably performing in Making Books Sing production of Tea with Chachaji, Pulse Ensemble's Chaos Theory, Michael Checkov's Arabian Nights among others. His American films include David Kaplan's Today's Special and Nayan Padrai's When Harry Tries to Marry.

In 2011 Tony decided to make Hollywood his home. He has appeared in "Criminal Minds, "Grey's Anatomy," "The First Family," and "Emile Owens, M.D."to name a few.
