Biografía
Originario de Nueva York y residente en Beijing. Trabajó en sets de películas en China y luego estudió Mandarín y Derecho en Oxford y el Bowdoin College, además de Dirección y Cinematografía en la Escuela para las Artes Tisch Asia en Singapur. Sus cortos y anuncios se han proyectado en Cannes, Locarno, Tribeca, Roma y Nueva York. El guión de su primer largometraje, San Fu Tian, fue seleccionado para la Cinéfondation Résidence. La película se estrenó en Panorama de Berlinale.
