Tiiti Johnson was born in Malmo, Sweden in 1965, with a early longing to be a part of a greater world. During the education at the Film School at Gothenburg University, she worked intensely with the investigation of the personal form, resulting in two documenatries : Laura & Dr Zjivago and Thomas Johnson. Since 2000 she collaborates with Felix Film Ltd, in production and development of several short- and feature length documentaries like Beneath the Stars, both as director and scriptwriter.
