Oscar L. Costo

Oscar Luis Costo was born in Havana, Cuba Oscar Luis Costo immigrated to the U.S. at the age of six with his mother and sister. After college Oscar won a Young Writer's competition and was awarded a scholarship for the new Masters program at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked graveyard shifts at the Silverbird casino as a Black Jack and Roulette while going to school during the day.

Oscar has worked his way up the production ladder to his current 27+ producing credits starting with co-producing feature films and television including Midlife Crossing starring Faye Dunaway, White Lie directed by Academy Award winner Bill Condon and Somebody Has To Shoot Me directed by Academy Award winner Frank Pierson. Oscar has also produced a series of Clio award winning commercials. Oscar made his television directing debut in 1995 going on to win several Golden Reel award on episodes of The Pretender, Seaquest, New York Undercover and Sliders.
