Oliver Masucci was born in 1968 in Stuttgart. This son of an Italian and a German grew up in Bonn. His German teacher at his secondary school, Ernst Moritz Arndt Gymnasium, introduced him to theater while she rehearsed "Three Penny Opera" with the pupils.
