Reid Scott was born and raised in upstate New York, where he received a degree from Syracuse University before moving to NYC to pursue acting with a role on All My Children. Reid has the distinction of simultaneously filming two acclaimed cable series. He starred as hunky oncologist to Academy Award nominee Laura Linney on the Golden Globe-winning Showtime series The Big C and also as a D.C. legend opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus in HBO's acomedy Veep.
