An Academy Award-nominated actor who combines a natural onscreen presence with a studied approach to character, Heath Ledger continues to build on an impressive young film career. Ledger starred as cowboy Ennis Del Mar in Ang Lee's highly acclaimed drama, Brokeback Mountain, which opened in December 2005 for Focus Features.
