Biografía
Singapore filmmaker Derrick Lui started his career directing on-air promos and artist image spots, then freelanced as a writer and director. His second short film, Colours (2007) won prizes at a slew of international festivals. His other shorts include Appetizer (2005), Peter (2008), When Night Falls (2010), Rented Happiness (2010) and Samsui Women (2010). 1400 is his first feature.
