Pedro Rivero

Biografía

He is a screenwriter, producer, film and television director, author of comics and playwright. He produced and directed the animated short film Birdboy based on the Psiconautas comic by Alberto Vázquez. With this film he won the Goya Award 2012 to best animated short film and was selected in more than 200 festivals, receiving 35 awards. In 2008 he was co-writer, director and producer of the animated feature film La Crisis Carnívora, presented in over 30 national and international festivals. In 1998 he wrote the script for the animated feature film Goomer, which won the Goya Award 1999 to best animated film from Spain. He has been screenwriter of the animation series Los Intocables de Elliot Mouse, Historias de Fútbol, Fantaghiró and El Hombre Invisible, and of some miniseries. He is author of the play La Montaña del Rey for theater, awarded in 1999 with the Accésit del Marqués de Bradomín. He has been scriptwriter of the comics Las Altas Colinas and La Cocina Divertida de Karlos Arguiñano, among others.
