David Raiklen

Raiklen has composed music and sound design for theater, dance, television, museums, concerts, documentaries and features including Boone Stule, 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Special Effects, directed by Ben Burtt. His compositions have been performed at the Hollywood Bowl and the first Disney Hall.

He has taught at UCLA, USC and CalArts. Among his mentors are John Williams and Mel Power. He has worked for Fox, Sony, Disney and PBS. David's composing is recognized by awards including a 2004 American Music Center Grant.
