Biografía
Christine Taylor is a talented actress who has captured the attention of audiences with her charming smile and memorable comedic performances in some of the most noteworthy contemporary comedies of the last decade.
Taylor completed production on the Warner Bros film LICENSE TO WED, directed by Ken Kwapis and also starring Robin Williams, Mandy Moore and John Krasinski. The story revolves around a young couple (Mandy Moore and John Kransinski) whose wedding plans are interrupted when the pushy minister (Robin Williams) of the bride’s family church orders the pair to complete a marriage preparation course. They must pass the class if they want to marry in his church. Taylor plays Moore’s older sister.
Taylor is best known for her hysterical starring performances in several blockbuster comedies such as Twentieth Century Fox’s hit, DODGEBALL: A TRUE UNDERDOG STORY, in which she stars opposite Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller, Paramount Pictures ZOOLANDER with Owen Wilson and New Line Cinema’s THE WEDDING SINGER opposite Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. She received great reviews and box office success with her performance as Marcia Brady in Paramount’s everso- popular series, THE BRADY BUNCH MOVIE and A VERY BRADY SPECIAL.
Taylor has also starred in several independent films including: DESPERATE BUT NOT SERIOUS for director Bill Fishman, KISS TOLEDO GOODBYE for Lyndon Chubick and Adam Rifkin’s DENIAL. Her other notable film credits include: THE CRAFT and OVERNIGHT DELIVERY.
On television, she was the star of the popular FOX series “Party Girl” and has also had memorable guest star appearances on “Spin City,” “Friends,” “Seinfeld,” “Ellen” and “Murphy Brown.”
Taylor also serves on the board and extemely involved with Project A.L.S. This is an organization which raises funds for the research towards finding effective treatments and a cure for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a fatal neuromuscular disease.
