Biografía
Polak is producer and director with several in-ternational awards including an Oscar and two Emmy nomitations for The Children of Lenin-gradsky. With Railway Station Ballad, she won the Best Producer Award in Krakow and Prix du Jury des Jeunes Europeens in Biarritz, France. For Stone Silence, shot in Afghanistan, she was awarded the Artistic Mastery of Photographing award from the Kiev Film Festival.
