Biografía
Boston Native actor singer and writer Jaime Cepero is most well known for his "polarizing" (Entertainment Weekly) role as Ellis Boyd on NBCs musical drama series "SMASH".
He appeared in Sundance favorite I Am Michael starring James Franco, Twentysomething Reasons To Grow (co-writer and starring) and indie film DADDY, which had its LA release in April 2016 and has racked up several awards on the indie festival circuit both nationally and internationally.
In theatre he appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar GOSPEL (world premiere), Choir Boy, HAIR, Speak Truth To Power, Bubbly Black Girl and Porgy & Bess (75th anniversary national tour), plus readings of new musicals Lost Souls, Concubine, and Leander. He has done voiceover work for American Eagle Outfitters and performs and plays his original music regularly at some of New York's hottest venues, including Joe's Pub, Pianos, Mercury Lounge, Arlenes Grocery and The Cuttingroom.
