Amitabh Reza Chowdhury

Amitabh Reza Chowdhury was born in Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh in 1976. In India, he studied economics at the Fergusson College of the Savitribai Phule Pune University and attended the Film and Television Institute of India. Chowdhury already realized some TV-Movies like "Hawa Ghor" (1999). In 2001, he founded the film production company Half Stop Down, which mainly produces commercials. By now, he has directed over 500 clips. When realizing commercials, Chowdhury pays special attention to aesthetic imagery as well as elaborate narratives. "Aynabaji" (2016) represents his first long feature film.
