Marcelo CAETANO (1982, Brazil) studied Anthropology at São Paulo University. He is a producer, director and screenwriter. In 2010, he produced the film Permanências, which was selected for the Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival. He received several awards for his film By Your Side (2012). Cateano has also worked as an assistant director for several Brazilian filmmakers, including Gabriel Mascaro (Neon Bull, 2016). Body Electric (2017) is his feature film debut.
