Biografía

Adrián Silvestre studied Audiovisual Communication, Film Directing and Contemporary Art History in Madrid, Rome and Havana. He was a fellow at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome and at the Casa Velázquez. In 2016 he directed his debut film, Los objetos amorosos, which travelled widely to international competitions and won the FIPRESCI Prize at the Seville European Film Festival. His second feature film, Sedimentos (2021) won the Special Jury Prize at Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival and received the Feroz Award 2022. Mi vacío y yo competed at Rotterdam and won the Silver Biznaga Special Jury Award at Malaga Festival.
