American director and choreographer Stanley Donen (born in 1924) is best known for his work in film musicals, such as Singin' in the Rain or On the Town (both co-directed by Gene Kelly) and collaboration with star actors Gen Kelly, Cary Grant, Fred Astaire, Audrey Hepburn or Ingrid Bergman.
