Javier Marco

Spanish film director, producer and editor. He is also a Telecommunications Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Film Direction and TV Production. His works have won a large number of awards and have been screened in the official sections of festivals such as Palm Springs, Cleveland, FICG Guadalajara and Leeds. His short film Uno (2018) was the winner of around a hundred awards, among which the Rio de Janeiro Curta Cinema and Brussels Short film Festival, giving it access to the pre-selection for the Oscar Awards. He has been selected at Berlinale Talents 2020 and Reykjavik Talent Lab 2019. His first feature film Josefina was shot with the support of RTVE and ICAA and his short film Amianto became a winner of the Proyecto Movistar + Short Project at the 2019 Cinema Jove International Festival.
