Oldřich Lipský

Oldřich Lipský (1924 - 1986) was a screenwriter and director. He left the Theatre of Satire (which he co-founded) for the Barrandov studios. Enchanted by the circus, the made his debut with the film The Circus Will Be (Cirkus bude!, 1954), which he followed with the films Six Bears and a Clown (Šest medvědů s Cibulkou, 1972) and in Circus in the Circus (Cirkus v cirkuse, 1975).
