Maïwenn

An actress since childhood, Maïwenn made her debut behind the camera with the short film I’m an actrice (2003). Two years later, she directed and starred in her first feature film, Pardonnez-moi (2005), which received two César award nominations. This was followed by Le bal des actrices (2007), also nominated for a César, and Polisse (2010), winner of the Jury Grand Prix at Cannes and of two César awards. She competed once again in the French competition with Mon Roi (My King), for which the leading lady, Emmanuelle Bercot, landed Best Actress. ADN was part of the official selection for Cannes 2020, cancelled due to covid-19.
