Katheryn Winnick

Canadian-born actress KATHERYN WINNICK has always been drawn to the unconventional, and her diverse acting resume proves it. After being selected from among thousands of other young actors to be documented on Bravo's groundbreaking docu-drama “The „It‟ Factor,” Katheryn has gone on to work extensively in both feature films and hit TV shows.

In 2009, Katheryn was nominated for a Gotham Award for Best Ensemble Cast in COLD SOULS, where she starred opposite Academy Award® nominees Paul Giamatti, David Strathairn and Emily Watson. She also starred in Ed Zwick's LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway for 20th Century Fox, as well as Rob Legato's thriller CHOOSE, alongside Kevin Pollack.

On television, Katheryn followed her teen debut as a recurring character on the popular Canadian series “Student Bodies” with a much-buzzed-about guest-lead on FOX's hit series “House.” She has also guest-starred on such hit shows as “CSI: NY,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and “Oz.”

Katheryn was able to showcase her artistic abilities in the film WHEN NIETZCHE WEPT, opposite Armand Assante and Ben Cross, as well as her comedic side as Matthew McConaughey's girlfriend in Paramount's box-office hit FAILURE TO LAUNCH.

Katheryn is not only an accomplished actress; she received her first Black Belt at the age of 13, competed nationally, and then went on to become a licensed bodyguard. Katheryn holds a third-degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a second-degree Black Belt in Karate.
