Azazel Jacobs

Azazel Jacobs is the son of avant-garde filmmaker Ken Jacobs who was ranked among the 100 greatest artists of the 20th century by the renowned Whitney Museum of Art in New York. Jacobs doesn’t try to hide the fact that the environment in which he grew up had a great impact on his life. During his studies in Los Angeles, he shot his first full-length movie, Nobody Needs to Know, which premiered at the 2004 Rotterdam Film Festival. In October 2007, Filmmaker magazine included Jacobs in its list of 25 directors worth watching.
