Woody Harrelson

Coming from Midland, Texas (born on July 23, 1961), his most distinctive roles include the serial killer Mickey from Oliver Stone’s murder story NATURAL BORN KILLERS (1994) and the controversial publisher of Hustler in Milos Forman’s PEOPLE VERSUS LARRY FLYNT (1995), for which he won his fi rst Oscar nomination.

His second Oscar nomination was the war drama THE MESSENGER (2009). His other well-known fi lms include the romantic drama INDECENT PROPOSAL (1993), action adventure MONEY TRAIN (1995), satire WAG THE DOG (1997) on smoothing down a presidential scandal, war saga THIN RED LINE (1998) and unconventional western HI-LO COUNTRY (1998). He has been participating in sustainable initiatives and visited the Carlsbad Film Festival in 1999 and 2000. He appeared in Oscar-awarded thriller NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (2007). Most recently, he has appeared in sci-fi HUNGER GAMES (2012).
