Biografía
Rokhsareh Ghaem Maghami studied filmmaking and animation at University of Art, Tehran. Her book, Animated Documentary: A New Way to Express, is based on her personal research. She has created six documentaries and has won more than 20 international awards. Cyanosis (2007) and Going Up the Stairs (2011) have both received wide international exposure. Maghami's film was nominated for Best Mid-Length Documentary at IDFA 2011 and won Best Female-Directed Documentary at Sheffield 2012.
