Biografía
Rokhsareh Ghaem Maghami (1976) is an Iranian documentary filmmaker. She studied directing and animation at the Tehran University of Art. Her research on animated documentaries resulted in the publication of the book Animated Documentary, a New Way to Express. She has directed six documentaries and won international success with her thesis film Cyanosis (2007) and the films Going up the Stairs (2011) and Sonita (2015).
