Trine Dyrholm

Trine Dyrholm was born in 1972. She graduated from The Danish National School of Theatre in 1995. When she was only 14 years old she experienced great success as the lead singer in the group Trine & The Moonlighters when they in 1987 won the National Danish Song Contest.

In 1990 Trine Dyrholm starred in her first feature film Springfold by Eddie Thomas Petersen. Since then she has starred in numerous theatre plays, movies and TV-series such as the TV-series Taxa (1997), the movie The Celebration (1998), Daisy Diamond (2007) and in Susanne Bier’s Golden Globe and Academy Award winner In A Better World (2010). During her career Trine Dyrholm has been awarded with two Roberts by the Film Academy of Denmark and five Bodils at The Danish Film Awards.
