Biografía

Andrés Sanz is a writer, director and film producer. After graduating in Fine Arts from the Complutense University, he studied film at the University of North Carolina (Greensboro) and later earned Master’s degree at the San Francisco Art Institute. He has directed a number of commercials and produced numerous short films, including the multi-awarded Bedford, included in the exhibition La sombra held at the ThyssenBornemisza Museum in Madrid. He collaborated with Isabella Rossellini in her tenth short film Flat Love, which won more than 50 international awards. In partnership with the artist Álvaro Perdices and the composers Santiago Rapallo and Javier Adán, he created the video installation Jardín infinito, a special commission from the Prado Museum for the historic exhibition of the 500th anniversary of Hieronymus Bosch in 2016. El cuadro is his first feature film.
