Carlota González-Adrio graduated at the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC). Although she specialised in art direction, she develops her projects as a screenwriter and director. In 2019 she completed her studies with the short film Solsticio de verano, recipient of the Best Spanish Short Film Award at the SEMINCI in Valladolid. She later continued her training at the Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola. La casa entre los cactus is her first feature film.
