Biografía

Carine Tardieu studied filmmaking in Paris and then worked as assistant director on many features and television films, then as a screenwriter for television. Between 2002 and 2004, she made two short films, Les Baisers des autres, which won many awards in international festivals, and L'Aîné de mes soucis which took the People's Choice Award at the festival of Clermont-Ferrand. Her work caught the eye of Christophe Rossignon (Nord-Ouest Productions) and he produced her first feature, La Tête de maman, co-written with Michel Leclerc, in 2007. For her second feature, she adapted the novel Du vent dans mes mollets with the book's author, Raphaële Moussafir. The film was produced by Antoine Rein and Fabrice Goldstein (Karé productions) and released in 2012. Karé is also producing her third feature, Ôtez-moi d'un doute, co-written with Raphaële Moussafir and Michel Leclerc.
